She was known for her roles in films such as "The Little Theatre of Jean Renoir" (1970), "The Return of Martin Guerre" (1982), and "The Troops of St. Tropez" (1984). She also wrote and directed the film "The Other One" (1994). Pisier was the recipient of several awards, including the Csar Award for Best Supporting Actress for her role in "The Return of Martin Guerre" (1982), and the Prix Suzanne Bianchetti for Best Actress in "The Other One" (1994). She was also appointed a Chevalier of the Legion of Honour in 1995. Pisier passed away in 2011 at the age of 66.
